Here we placed photos of the modern look of the famous WWII battlefields of Karelian Isthmus. Unfortunately it's difficult to get into some famous battlefields of Winter War during winter, so photos of Taipale area were taken during July. But I hope one can imagine these fields under snow, lake under ice and cold and swift black waters of Taipaleenjoki river flowing between the banks of white snow with black spots of shell-holes and dead bodies...
