Stainless steel army spoons. Puolustuslaitos meaning is close to Defence Forces. Spoons were produced by small private plant, detailed information is unknown to us. Possibly, there were several plants - spoons have distinctions in design.
Such spoons were used both during Winter war 1939-1940, and during Continuation war 1941-1944.
On one spoon initials R.S. can be seen. According to Finnish Military Archive data no persons with such initials die at the place of this spoon finding. So it was lost while its owner escaped.
