Finnish coffee sets. In the garbage pit described above we found at least 20 coffee sets (cup + saucer), and almost the same number in next one pit. Unfortunately, most of these sets were broken, but we found several more or less good (with splits, but not broken into pieces). All these items were produced by Arabia factory.
All the sets in the photo have the same paintings - Finnish flag and letter S. It looks like "Sotilaskoti" (Soldier's house) organisation symbolics. The purpose of this organisation is not very clear but one of the aims was the preparation of soldier's rest places.
Also some items without paintings were found (e.g. a saucer in the previous photo). All the spoons were in bad condition so it was impissible to find any marks on them.
