Date of death from the document - 24.02.1940, - possibly means the date of documents collecting from dead bodies. The remains were found in the anti-tank ditch in front of Finnish barbed wire obstacles broken through on 23.02.40. The next day 272 RR according to archive documents had preparead to a new assault planned on 25.02.40.
