He was a soldier of 3rd Battery of 4th Super Heavy Artillery Battalion (3./Jär.Psto 4) and fought in Kaljala, Mainila, Valkeasaari, Rajajoki, Ihantala. Out of military service since 20.11.1944 due to war's (generally) end.
