Finnish handycraft.

handycraft, face side

The thin aluminium plate. In the upper part possibly was an "eye" for a rope to hang it on a neck, but this element was lost. One can see the landscape with hills, birches... In the lower part - the inscription "1912" and lower, faintly seen - "41".

handycraft, reverse side

On the reverse - the inscription "Muisto sodasta" - "Memory of war" in Finnish.

This handycraft was found in a small dug-out. Possbly it was a winter kitchen - inside a saucepan, a frying pan, and about 10 Finnish vodka (viina) (ALKO company, Helsinki) were found.

Finnish veterans say that many Finnish soldiers during the trench war produced different handycrafts.
